Recovery of Iron from High-Iron Hot Rolled Mill Scales by Direct Reduction Technique

In this study, the integrated iron and steel plant mill scales prepared to concentrate in different ratios by blending with hematite character ore. CMC was used as binder coke will be reductant. The calcite added such a way that basicity ratio is 0.7. pelletizing machine pellet blends containing at then drying temperature of 150 °C. 28 kg / compressive strength obtained pellets from 100% scales. As amount ore increased, 45 reached 50% increase strength. After compression tests, dried were subjected reduction 3 temperatures (1200, 1300 1400 C) their degrees calculated based on oxygen loss. highest degree (82%) ° C completely
